Max Mueller had a solo home run to lead South Scranton Post 948 to a 4-3 win over West Post 920 on Thursday in District 11 American Legion baseball.

Tyler Buckley and Ronald Laytos both doubled for the winners.

Steve Aniska had two RBIs for West Scranton.

Played at Moscow because of wet grounds at Mid Valley, Preston Henwood tripled, doubled and singled to lead Moscow.

Gaetano Calabro added three hits including a double. Chris Gaetano hit a two-run homer for the winners and Adam Naughton and Matt Lighthizer each stroked two hits.

Steve Rovinsky smacked two hits and drove in two for Dickson City.
