Matt Staback and Bob Holeva had two hits each as the Carbino Club defeated Weston Park, 10-5, on Saturday in District 32 Junior League action.

With the win, Carbino Club advances to Friday's district final against the winner of Monday's game between Weston Park and Tri-County.

District 17 11-12

South Scranton 14

Old Forge 8

At Dunmore on Friday, Ryan Sherman had three hits, including a pair of home runs, and Bobby Chickeletti added three hits as South Scranton captured the Pool A title.

Jordan Ohler had four hits while Shane Schuback and Paul Papi homered for Old Forge.

Dickson City 10

Archbald 2

Matt Mierzejewski and Mikey Petcavage combined for a no-hitter with 16 strikeouts for Dickson City,

Mierzejewski and Tommy Davis had two hits, while Petcavage homered for the winners.

Throop 5

Lakeland 2

Alex Varaska tossed a two-hitter with 11 strikeouts and Tyler Fiume added a pair of hits as Throop defeated Lakeland.

North Pocono 10

Sloan 2

Brian Fox tossed a two-hitter and Matt Nawrocki had three hits as North Pocono picked up the victory.

Cameron Rawlings had a double for Sloan.

District 32 9-10

Throop 14

Carbondale 4

R.J. Gouldsbury had three doubles and winning pitcher Noah Tanner added a pair of hits in Throop's victory.

Devin Surface doubled for Carbondale.

Throop 4

Lakeland 1

Mario Giannone and Zach Fiume combined on a one-hitter with 11 strikeouts as Throop defeated Lakeland.

Giannone had a pair of hits for the winners, while Nico Piriano had the lone hit for Lakeland.
