Comets advance to finals

Zach Shiposh had a goal and an assist to lead Abington Heights past Dallas, 3-0, Tuesday in the District 2 Class AA boys soccer semifinals at Scranton Memorial Stadium.

Derek Klingman and Brian Levy also scored for the Comets, who will play Coughlin for the district title on Thursday at Lake-Lehman.

Justin Passetti had four saves for Abington Heights.

Coughlin 6, Western Wayne 1

At Lake-Lehman, Jake Karavitch had a goal and two assists and Brian Suchoski scored two goals to lead Coughlin past Western Wayne in the District 2 Class AA semifinals.

Andrew Green scored for Western Wayne.
