The following people were sentenced in Wayne County by President Judge Raymond L. Hamill on Thursday:

- Walter Anderson, 23, of Lake Ariel, 48 to 120 months in state prison, $1,000 fine and $11,097 in restitution after pleading guilty to homicide by vehicle while under the influence and driving under the influence, highest rate.

- Nelson LaFurge, 39, of Highland Mills, N.Y., 12 to 24 months in state prison for simple assault.

- Gary Fischer, 45, of Lake Ariel, 30 days to six months in county jail, $1,200 fine and 50 hours of community service for driving under the influence and driving without a license.

- Jeffrey Banks, 23, of Beach Lake, one to 23½ months in county prison for simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.

- Joseph Rios, 72, of Pleasant Mount, 12 months' probation and $200 fine for simple assault and harassment.

- William Sickler, 49, of Gouldsboro, 15 days to 12 months in county prison $1,200 fine and 75 hours of community service for driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving with a suspended license.

- Arthur Zegers, 71, of Lakewood, two years' probation, $100 fine and $2,503.68 in restitution after pleading guilty to simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct and two counts of criminal mischief.

- Allison Korman, 27, of Waymart, three to 23½ months in county prison, $20 in restitution and 50 hours of community service for delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

- Stephen Held, 23, of Moscow, 12 months' probation and 50 hours of community service for possession of a controlled substance.
