SCRANTON - State enforcement officers have cited an Olyphant pizzeria and an Old Forge restaurant and bar for violating the state liquor control law.

Augustine's Club 17 in Old Forge was cited for selling alcoholic beverages after its license expired. The license expired last September.

Luigi's Pizza in Olyphant was cited for twice allowing smoking where smoking is prohibited.

Both may appeal to an administrative law judge.

This has nothing to do with the topic as does "Luigis is gross" what is gross is the new owner of Lou's pizza trying to come across as his "pizza" is homemade. Lou made it homemade, this guy doesn't. The pizza is horrible as is the service and the new owner is rude. He doubled the cost of the awful pizza too. THAT is what's gross. He needs to go back to Jessup.

Hey Olyphant Resident. Can you please tell me how the Stone Elephant has underagers when every ID is scanned through the dector? Maybe you were never in the bar before.. huh? Also, I guess you don't pay attention, but if you do not sereve food, you can still smoke in a bar...and they last time I checked, Stone Elephant did not serve food. So you want the state to close the Stone Elephant down because your an angry citizen? That's what I thought.

LMAO, How about the Stone Elephant, what has the State done about that? That place is a disgrace with them serving visually intoxicated people, and allowing underagers in. Can you say nuisance bar?

Luigis is a classy place..plain and simple, and they keep it that way.

Smoker, you sound like Joe Taliban from council meetings. Let me guess, you have a raspy voice, cough all the time, don't exercise, breathe real heavy. Why don't you keep your smoke out of the BAR so I don't end up like you. Better yet, don't even go to the BAR. You probably stink like an ashtray anyway.

SMOKERS ARE ALSO LITTER BUGS OR SHOULD I SAY BUTT BUGS. IF YOU EVER SEE A SMOKER SMOKE EVERYTIME THEY ARE CLOSE TO THE END OF THE CIGARETTE THEY FLIP ON THE GROUND. IF YOU SMOKE KEEP YOUR BUTTS TO YOURSELF--THAT DRIVES ME CRAZY EVERY TIME I SEE IT. ALSO KEEP THEM IN YOUR CARS ALSO.

Obviously, the kids are not in a bar, they're in a restraunt or any other public building that allows smoking. I see the smoke has cluded your ability to reason as well.

keep your kids out of bars and they won't have to worry about our
2nd hand smoke

Would it make sense to have some bars that are smoking and some that smoke, that way all have a choice? Its nice to be out and not have someone blow smoke in your face but its also nice to go out and have an occasional cigarette.

Yes, thank you smoker. Thank you for the second hand smoke which increases the chances of me and my children getting cancer and other disease which then drives up the cost of health care. Yes, thanks for all of that!

it is about time they caught them... good state officals!!!! lets get out and get the rest of those law breakers, if new york can how come we can't????????

Next time you see a smoker, instead of making rude comments or sounds, you should thank them for all the taxes they are paying. If they weren't paying more than their fair share, you would have to pick up the slack. Fast Eddie needs that money.
