SALEM TWP. - It was two Honesdale men who died last week in a fiery, one-vehicle crash on Route 191, state police said Tuesday.

Alan Ellsworth, 44, and John Bronson, 30, died from blunt-force trauma and were identified through dental and medical records, police said.

Mr. Bronson was operating a 1997 Ford Explorer northbound just after midnight Wednesday when it left the roadway about a half-mile north of Sawmill Road, struck a tree and burst into flames, state police said.
