DINGMANS FERRY - A man drowned while swimming in a Pike County creek Friday afternoon, according to the Pike County coroner's office.
The man's identity was not released, and details of the incident were not immediately available.
Emergency crews responded to Adams Creek about two miles off Route 209 just before 2 p.m., according to the Pike County Communications Center.
Efforts to reach officials with the Delaware Twp. Fire Department, the Dingmans Ferry Fire Department and the National Park Service, which oversees the area where the drowning occurred, were unsuccessful Friday.
