Guns taken from ice cream shop

LAPLUME - State police are looking for information regarding the burglary of two rifles in LaPlume Twp.

Police say two firearms - a Ruger 77 and a loaded Marlin Glenfield .22 - were stolen from Amy's Dairy Barn on Routes 6 & 11 sometime between 11 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday.

Police said the perpetrator forced open a side door. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 963-3156.

Sounds kid friendly to me. I'd rather take my kids out somewhere we're less likely to all be tied up and whatnot in the event of a robbery. Gun owner or victim, choose one.
