MILFORD - With the first half being a defensive struggle, Wallenpaupack coach Mark Watson decided to unveil his "Wildcat" formation.
Turned out to be a good choice.
After scoring no touchdowns in the first half, Wallenpaupack broke out with five scores in the second half giving the Buckhorns a 35-11 victory over Delaware Valley on Friday night.
Wallenpaupack clinched a berth in the District 2-4-11 Class AAAA playoffs for the first time in school history, and spoiled Delaware Valley's bid to share the LFC Division I title.

DUNMORE - In search of its first perfect regular season since 1999, the Dunmore Bucks turned to sensational running back Michael Perry as he led the Bucks to a convincing 48-14 victory over Riverside on Friday night at Dunmore Veterans' Memorial Stadium.
Perry carried the load offensively for the Bucks as they were successful in reaching the end zone on their first four possessions, all of which were touchdown runs by Perry.

CHAPMAN LAKE - The Lakeland Chiefs looked like a team ready for the playoffs.
Senior Brett Kuwik led all rushers with 155 yards, and six different Chiefs had rushing touchdowns as Lakeland defeated Montrose, 54-12, on Friday night at Lakeland High School.
"We jumped on them early," Lakeland coach Jeff Wasilchak said. "We're trying to get ready for playoffs, so we can't look past anybody. So we said, 'Let's go out there and get the job done. Let's do what we got to do.'

In a game which started off as a defensive battle between Valley View and Scranton, it quickly turned into an offensive onslaught by the Cougars, who cruised to a 21-8 victory Friday Night at Scranton Memorial Stadium. The first half was dominated by strong defensive play from both teams, which held the opposing offenses scoreless for the majority of the half.
