Homeless man charged in assault

SCRANTON - A fight Tuesday near Olive Street and Oakford Court led to the arrest of a homeless man, city police said.

Dennis Ingle, 57, was charged with simple assault after the alleged victim, Scott Thomas Kinder, told police Mr. Ingle assaulted him at about 7:20 p.m. along the railroad tracks in the 300 block of Olive, kicking him in the face as he lay on the ground. Mr. Ingle, whom officers located nearby, admitted fighting with Mr. Kinder, police said.

I just drove by that area and saw three homeless people right out in the open. One was holding a live chicken. How awful.

Oh, I don't think you will close your business Eddie. You still have time left on your KOEZ. Besides, what about all the money you invested in that gift from Lou. Besides crime is not up, it's down. Remember, that's what King Chris said during his campaign. Maybe, instead of kissing his butt, you should have been kicking it.

My sources tell me that Barrasse put Mr. Ingle on an ankle bracelet and now he can't go more than 50ft from his cardboard box. In violation of his probation, he's already come up hot for pork and beans.

A human rights protest is already scheduled for 7pm tonight, please bring your own sardines, stick with bandana, and 40oz Hurricanes.

Eddie Pisano, if you DO leave, it'll be because your KOZ ran out.

If you stop paying the homeless to do odd jobs, they'll go somewhere else. I've never seen a human being shovel snow like that in my life.

First, this area of Olive Street has become a haven for the homeless. And secondly, by checking Police records, it will be found that these two men have been arrested NUMEROUS times for one incident or another. When will the City take action and clean up that area? Our section has been so completely ignored.

I think another city business will be closing it's doors, MINE, because customers constantly mention their reluctuance to come to this area.
